750 ml bottle. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from vineyard at Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina, at 950 meters above sea level on a homogeneous soil with sandy-loam. In contact with French oak for 8 months. Alcohol 13.10% vol. (75 cl Fr. 16.00, 1 L Fr. 21.33)

Harvest 2018: Ideal growing conditions in Mendoza delivered well-structured wines. Deep ruby red with purplish highlights. Aromas of cassis marmalade, ripe wild berries, black pepper, aromatic herbs, vanilla and cloves. Juicy and enveloping, balanced and full-flavoured mid palate. Gentle tannins that ensure a lingering finish with good ageing potential.

Escorihuela Gascón, founded in 1884, is the oldest winery in the city of Mendoza. It has collected more than 350 awards during their 135 years of history. Francis Mallmann 1884, awarded with “Latin American 50 Best”, was the first restaurant to open in Mendoza at a winery in 1996. Mallmann, who owns multiple restaurants in South America, United States and France, is Argentina’s most famous chef, known for his open-fire cooking.
