The original 777 clone from this Pinot noir variety was brought by the Arizu family from the French Bourgogne.

750 ml bottle. 100% Pinot noir from the estate’s La Consulta vineyard, located at 1170 meters of altitude in Valle de Uco. 55-year-old vines in soil from alluvial origin, calcareus, with strong presence of iron. Sandy clay and stones on the surface. Alcohol 12.50 % vol. (75 cl Fr. 26.00, 1 L Fr. 34.66)

Harvest 2015: 92 points (Descorchados), 89 points (James Suckling). Light-bodied red wine with earthy and floral style and spice aromas with a long, smooth finish. A Pinot Noir that achieved an excellent health and polyphenol concentration thanks to the cool temperature range in the atypical 2015 harvest in Mendoza. Best-rated vintage for this Grand Pinot Noir.

Founded in 1901 by Leoncio Arizu, from Navarra, Spain, Luigi Bosca was one of the pioneers in establishing the Malbec Luján de Cuyo DOC in 1989, being the first DOC in all of America. The winery remained in the hands of the founding family throughout the decades, and has become the paradigm of Argentinian wines.
